At In Tune Together Music Services, we are fully licensed and board-certified music therapists serving the Chicagoland Area! Our mission is to foster personal growth, enhance quality of life, and support each person’s unique journey through the power of music and relationships.
Lily Paterno, MMT, LPMT, MT-BC, is a board-certified and licensed professional music therapist with over 7 years of experience working with individuals of all ages and abilities. She received her Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy from Belmont University before going on to receive her Master of Music Therapy degree from Alverno College. While Lily has clinical experience working in various settings including nursing homes and assisted living centers, schools, and hospitals, her primary clinical area of focus has been neurodivergent children, adolescents, and young adults. She has experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, Down Syndrome, sensory processing disorder, anxiety, and other mood disorders. With previous training in Neurologic Music Therapy, Lily is passionate about understanding music’s impact on nonmusical brain and behavior functions. She enjoys sharing this passion with clients, families, and caregivers to reinforce the beneficial impact that music has on growth and development. In her free time, Lily loves spending time with her family and friends, dabbling in musical theatre, working out, doing puzzles, and rewatching her comfort shows over and over again.
Rita Boffa, LPMT, MT-BC, is a licensed and board-certified music therapist with over five years of experience working with individuals of all ages and abilities. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy from the University of Dayton and has worked across a variety of settings, including schools, outpatient clinics, in-home services, and telehealth. As a neurodivergent individual with ADHD, Rita is deeply passionate about supporting others with neurodivergence. She specializes in stroke rehabilitation, older adult care, pediatric and adult hospice care, as well as working with neurodivergent children, adolescents, and young adults. Rita is committed to making music therapy accessible, individualized, and impactful for clients of all ages and abilities. She believes in using music as a powerful tool for healing, growth, and connection. When she’s not working, Rita enjoys traveling, hiking, discovering new live music, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She also loves singing with friends, exploring new musical genres, and finding creative ways to connect through music.
